Director of Growth Ventures

About the role

Datarails is seeking an entrepreneurial and technically‑savvy Director of Growth Ventures to work hand‑in‑hand with the Co‑Founder on high‑impact, zero‑to‑one marketing initiatives. This role functions as an internal startup, responsible for discovering, prototyping, and scaling brand‑new growth loops and distribution strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Co‑Founder to brainstorm, build, and launch high‑upside growth initiatives and non‑traditional channels.
• Rapidly prototype, launch, and iterate experiments using modern growth tooling without waiting for core engineering.
• Identify untapped market opportunities and emerging platforms to diversify acquisition beyond established performance channels.
• Analyze experiment outcomes, build tracking mechanisms, and validate unit economics through deep product and marketing analytics.

Required profile

• 5+ years of proven growth strategy, innovation, or venture‑building experience in fast‑paced tech or venture‑backed startups.
• Hands‑on experience with AI systems, autonomous AI agents, LLM integrations, and protocols such as Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Strong technical literacy enabling independent development of lightweight solutions.
• Founder‑mindset with high agency, adaptability, and bias for action in ambiguous environments.
