Director of AI & Algorithms

About the role

QuantHealth is seeking a senior leader to head its AI & Algorithms team. The role will shape the scientific direction of the company’s clinical‑trial simulation platform, turning cutting‑edge research into production‑ready models that reduce risk and cost for pharmaceutical partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and grow a multidisciplinary team of researchers, data scientists and algorithm developers.
• Define the scientific and algorithmic roadmap for simulation, prediction and AI‑driven product capabilities.
• Establish validation, benchmarking, uncertainty quantification and model calibration standards.
• Partner with Clinical Informatics, DataOps, MLOps, Product and Engineering to turn scientific challenges into scalable solutions.
• Drive adoption of new machine‑learning methods, data representations and modeling approaches.
• Represent QuantHealth’s scientific work to customers, investors and the broader AI‑health community.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading machine‑learning or AI research teams in production environments.
• Strong background in machine learning, statistics, predictive modeling and experimental design.
• Track record of deploying ML systems that deliver measurable business impact.
• Experience recruiting, mentoring and developing high‑performing technical talent.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across scientific, technical and business functions.
