DevOps Infra/Cloud Engineer

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a DevOps Infra/Cloud Engineer to design, develop, and support moderately complex DevOps and infrastructure solutions for on‑premises and cloud environments. This full‑time, fixed‑term position is based in Rehovot, Israel.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation components on Linux and Windows platforms.
• Support containerized applications, including Docker, and assist with basic orchestration concepts.
• Provision, configure, and maintain infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform and configuration management tools like Ansible.
• Troubleshoot build, deployment, and system integration issues and create technical documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• 2–4 years of experience in DevOps, software engineering, or infrastructure roles.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools, scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell), and basic cloud or virtualized environments (AWS, Azure, VMware).
