Desktop Support Technician – Help Desk Specialist

About the role

Impact Networks Group LTD is looking for a Desktop Support Technician to join its IT team at a client site in Beer Sheva. You will ensure the smooth operation of IT systems, provide first‑line support to end users, and help maintain both hardware and software environments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site technical assistance to employees, troubleshooting Windows OS, Microsoft Office applications and other software.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware issues on computers, printers and peripheral devices.
• Install, configure and commission new computer equipment, monitors and related peripherals.
• Perform routine maintenance and updates on workstations and related systems.
• Log incidents and track resolutions using the company’s ticketing system.
• Coordinate with external vendors and technicians when specialized support is required.
• Offer guidance and training to users on proper use of IT resources.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and suggest technology upgrades.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in technical support or help‑desk environments (preferred).
• Strong customer‑service orientation and good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Effective time‑management and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Solid knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Hands‑on experience with computer and printer hardware troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with installing and configuring PC hardware and peripherals.
• Experience using IT ticketing/incident‑management tools.
• Relevant certifications such as MCSA or MCITP (advantage).
