Data Analytics Team Lead

About the role

Connecteam is seeking an AI‑native Data Analytics Team Lead to drive data‑powered decisions across the company. This hands‑on leadership position combines people management, strong business insight, and technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop a team of Data Analysts, setting goals and providing feedback.
• Own the analytical roadmap, prioritising high‑impact business needs.
• Define technical standards for data modelling, SQL, dbt testing, code reviews and BI.
• Partner with senior leadership to translate business requirements into KPIs and actionable insights.
• Deliver high‑impact analyses, build scalable data models and Looker dashboards.
• Ensure data quality, investigate anomalies and drive AI‑native automated workflows.

Required profile

• 5+ years in business, growth or data analytics within a fast‑paced SaaS environment.
• At least 2 years of direct people‑management experience leading analysts.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to turn needs into clear analytical priorities.
• Proven technical leadership in establishing analytics and engineering best practices.

Required skills

• Advanced SQL and production experience with dbt (modeling, testing, CI).
• Experience with BigQuery, Looker (or comparable BI), and Git‑based development workflows.
• Familiarity with AI‑enabled tools such as Cursor, n8n, OpenClaw, and MCP integrations.
• Hands‑on coding skills in Python and knowledge of statistics/A‑B testing.
