Cyber Security Analyst

About the role

Zafran is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Analyst to join its fast‑growing cybersecurity startup. You will dive deep into computing environments and attacker techniques, turning research insights into cutting‑edge tools that help customers strengthen their security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to improve the efficiency of the existing detection engine.
• Design and implement new features in the detection and correlation engine to address emerging threats.
• Conduct in‑depth research on security vulnerabilities, threats, and protocols.
• Translate research findings into innovative security solutions and controls.
• Work across multiple departments, interacting with cybersecurity professionals, engineers, and product managers.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably in research analysis, threat detection engineering, or threat hunting.
• Proven ability to collect, process, and interpret large datasets, especially for protocol research.
• Strong collaboration skills and experience managing multi‑departmental interactions.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals and SQL.
