Cost Management Consultant – Budget Control Manager

About the role

CBRE is seeking a Cost Management Consultant to lead budget control for fit‑out and construction projects. You will monitor financial performance, analyse variances and provide data‑driven recommendations throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Perform budget control for fit‑out and construction projects.
• Prepare and present budget‑vs‑actual reports.
• Monitor project financial status from initiation to delivery.
• Analyse deviations, identify root causes and suggest corrective actions.
• Support cost planning, tracking and financial reporting processes.
• Collaborate with project managers, suppliers and clients to ensure accurate cost data.
• Review price proposals, bids and related cost documents.
• Align project budgets with timelines, scope and business requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• High level of English proficiency.
• Proven experience in budget control, cost management or construction project finance.
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Priority).
