Contract Manager - Metro TLV

About the role

Egis, together with its partners (METAV), has been appointed as Network Manager for three new underground metro lines in Tel Aviv, covering 149 km and 109 stations. The company is looking for an experienced Contract Manager to join its international team and support the client with contract management best practice, contractual correspondence, claims preparation and review, and the commercial and legal aspects of project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Provide contract management best practice advice and support to the client
• Draft formal project correspondence with clients, contractors and partners, and prepare, analyse and respond to claims, variations and contractual notices
• Maintain detailed logs of incoming and outgoing contractual communications
• Prepare documentation for dispute resolution, including adjudication or arbitration, if needed
• Review subcontractor contracts and help align them with the main contract
• Ensure contract compliance and keep organised records of key contractual events
• Work with legal, technical and commercial teams on the interpretation of contract terms and contribute to risk management
• Support the client, Procurement Team and Project Director in claims defence and negotiation strategy
• Prepare monthly reports on contract management, including open claims, contractual status of procurement contracts and risk exposure

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in contract commercial management, law, engineering, construction management or a related field
• At least 7 years of experience in contract management on large-scale infrastructure projects
• Strong background in international contract frameworks, particularly FIDIC
• Preferred: experience in metro, rail or large transportation projects
• Native or near-native English writing and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a multicultural, fast-paced environment and independently

Required skills

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office
• Advantageous: familiarity with contract and document management systems
• Strong negotiation, interpersonal and organisational skills
