Content Writer

About the role

Upwind is looking for a hands‑on Content Writer to become the voice of its next‑generation cloud security platform. You will translate complex runtime and cloud security concepts into content that resonates with security engineers and CISOs.

Key responsibilities

• Own the content engine: plan, write, and publish blogs, technical articles, guides, eBooks and whitepapers on cloud security, runtime protection, CNAPP, Kubernetes and API security.
• Translate deep‑tech findings into clear, shareable stories by collaborating with researchers, engineers and product teams.
• Write for the full funnel, creating landing‑page copy, email nurtures, ads, case studies and sales enablement assets.
• Optimize content for SEO and LLM citation to ensure Upwind appears in organic and AI‑driven searches.
• Maintain a consistent brand voice across all channels, from LinkedIn posts to 20‑page reports.
• Build an AI‑native workflow, using AI tools for research, drafting, editing and repurposing.
• Measure traffic, engagement, rankings and pipeline influence, using data to guide future topics.
• Stay close to buyers by gathering insights from sales and customers and answering their security questions.

Required profile

• 3+ years of content writing or content marketing experience at a B2B SaaS company.
• Native‑level English with a polished, technical writing style.
• Technical fluency with cloud environments, containers, Kubernetes, vulnerabilities and threat detection.
• Portfolio demonstrating published B2B tech content, including deep‑dives and marketing copy.
• Experience with SEO, LLM optimization and data‑driven content improvement.
• Comfortable using AI tools throughout the writing workflow.
• Strong collaborator who can extract insights from engineers and push back when needed.
• Self‑starter motivated to ship high‑quality content in a fast‑moving startup.
