Chief Marketing Officer

About the role

Fonable makes international calling as simple as opening a browser. We’re looking for a hands‑on Chief Marketing Officer / Head of Growth to turn that product into repeatable customer and revenue growth. This is a flexible, fractional opportunity for an experienced marketer who can work alongside other commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and validate the strongest B2C and B2B customer segments and use cases.
• Sharpen positioning, messaging, landing pages, and the journey from first call to repeat paid use.
• Build a practical acquisition mix across SEO, content, paid campaigns, partnerships, affiliates, referrals, and lifecycle marketing.
• Leverage product‑led growth, CRM, and automation to improve activation, retention, and sales follow‑up.
• Set up clear measurement for acquisition, activation, paid conversion, retention, and revenue; run focused tests and iterate quickly.
• Own the growth plan with the founder, execute it, and bring in specialists or freelancers when a channel justifies investment.

Required profile

• Proven experience owning growth or go‑to‑market work for a SaaS, consumer, or digital product with measurable outcomes.
• Ability to connect product marketing with performance, organic channels, conversion, and retention.
• Comfortable deciding what to test on a lean budget, executing personally, and using data to separate promising signals from noise.
• Experience with B2B and B2C acquisition, PLG, ABM, SEO, paid media, affiliates, or AI‑assisted marketing is valuable.
