About the role

InterContinental David Tel Aviv is seeking an experienced Chief Accountant to lead its finance team, overseeing daily accounting operations and ensuring compliance with international standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the hotel’s daily accounting activities.
  • Perform bank, credit card, supplier and customer reconciliations.
  • Handle invoices, payments, journal entries and accounting reconciliations.
  • Prepare financial data and periodic reports.
  • Support month‑end closing, balance sheet preparation and internal/external audits.
  • Lead and manage the accounting team.

Required profile

  • Bookkeeping Certificate – Type 2.
  • Previous bookkeeping/accounting experience.
  • Team management experience.
  • Experience in hospitality or an international organization (advantage).
  • High‑level English proficiency.
  • Strong organizational accuracy and attention to detail.

Required skills

  • Advanced Excel.
  • Financial systems proficiency.
