Back End Developer – Event‑Driven Microservices

About the role

Plaee is looking for a seasoned Back End Developer to join its fast‑growing Ramat Gan team. You will design, build, and maintain high‑performance, event‑driven microservices that power prediction‑market and sweepstakes platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop real‑time, high‑throughput backend services handling millions of transactions.
• Design and expose robust APIs for internal and external consumption.
• Implement and manage message‑queue pipelines using Kafka, Redis, or BullMQ.
• Optimize database schemas and queries in PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to evolve the distributed architecture.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and YAML configurations.

Required profile

• 6+ years of professional back‑end development experience.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
