Associate Director, Medical Affairs – Oncology

About the role

We are seeking an Associate Director, Medical Affairs to lead our oncology medical affairs team in Israel. This non‑promotional position oversees scientific exchange with healthcare professionals, drives strategy, and ensures high‑quality engagement across regional and national leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage budget and resources for the oncology medical affairs portfolio.
• Hire, coach, and develop Medical Affairs Managers and MSLs, ensuring compliance and scientific excellence.
• Provide input to therapeutic‑area medical strategy and translate strategic plans into actionable field engagements.
• Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration with internal stakeholders and ensure alignment with company SOPs and local regulations.
• Organize regular team meetings for training, best‑practice sharing, and compliance reinforcement.
• Set performance objectives, conduct mid‑year and year‑end reviews, and maintain up‑to‑date scientific knowledge.
• Develop and execute the Medical Affairs plan, including education and data‑generation activities.
• Review and approve MSL plans, collaborate with GCTO and market access on new products, and monitor system updates.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MD, PharmD, PhD); postgraduate degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Medical Affairs, preferably in oncology.
• Demonstrated leadership and team‑management experience.
