Assistant Corporate Controller

About the role

As an Assistant Corporate Controller in Taboola’s finance group, you will support day‑to‑day accounting, ensure proper treatment of complex transactions, and help report results across global offices. The role reports to the Corporate Finance Director and includes oversight of regional accounting teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support preparation of consolidated and solo financial statements and coordinate SEC‑compliant reporting.
• Execute quarterly and annual close processes and act as primary liaison for external auditors.
• Maintain and test internal controls (SOX) and ensure consistent accounting policies.
• Review revenue recognition (ASC 606) for trading deals and revenue streams.
• Manage Workiva reporting and SEC filing accounting treatment.
• Mentor regional accounting teams to ensure productivity and accuracy.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Legal, and Investor Relations for data and analysis.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably with a Big 4 background.
• At least 1 year of post‑internship experience.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP (ASC 718, 606, 260) and SEC reporting.
• Experience with offshore subsidiaries.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification.
• Strong English communication skills.
