About the role
Applied Materials is seeking an Algorithms Engineer specialized in Computer Vision and Deep Learning to join its Process Diagnostics and Control (PDC) unit in Rehovot. You will work on cutting‑edge machine‑learning solutions that improve e‑beam inspection and yield control for semiconductor manufacturing.
Key responsibilities
- Develop end‑to‑end algorithmic solutions for e‑beam inspection challenges.
- Conduct applied research to achieve state‑of‑the‑art performance and translate results into marketable products.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust solutions to customers.
Required profile
- Master’s degree (or higher) in a quantitative science.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in algorithm development.
- Strong autodidactic abilities and a proactive, "can‑do" mindset.
Required skills
- Extensive coding experience in Python.
- Practical knowledge of Computer Vision, Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques.
