About the role

The Steward (Utility Cleaner) supports essential hotel operations by maintaining cleanliness across multiple departments such as kitchen, food & beverage, and laundry. You will ensure guests enjoy spotless dining ware and fresh linens while operating and maintaining cleaning equipment.

Key responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize kitchen, food‑and‑beverage, and laundry areas.
  • Operate dishwashing machines, hand‑wash stations, linen washers and dryers.
  • Transport dishware, linens and other items throughout the hotel.
  • Follow safety procedures, report accidents, and maintain a professional appearance.
  • Lift, carry, push or pull objects up to 50 lb and stand or walk for extended periods.

Required profile

  • No specific education required (high school diploma or GED not mandatory).
  • No prior work experience required.
  • No supervisory experience or certifications needed.

Required skills

  • Operation of dishwashing machines.
  • Operation of linen washing and drying equipment.
