Senior System Architect for ECU designs

About the role

Mobileye is developing next‑generation automotive ECUs for autonomous driving. As a Senior System Architect you will own the end‑to‑end system architecture of ECU designs, ensuring verification, traceability and alignment across hardware, embedded software and validation teams.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with OEM and Tier‑1 customers to analyse requirements and propose solutions.
• Define system requirements and architecture that integrate Mobileye’s HW and SW products.
• Collaborate with product management to maintain architectural coherence across product lines.
• Work with project managers to prioritise R&D scopes and release dependencies.
• Drive cross‑functional technical alignment, ensuring designs are verifiable (DFV) and interfaces are testable.
• Maintain compliance with ASPICE Level 2 for system and software requirements.
• Own risk management, identify verification gaps and lead mitigation actions.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science (M.Sc. a plus).
• 5+ years of experience in system architecture for embedded automotive systems.
• Proven ability to lead technical discussions with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• ECU architecture knowledge (MCU/SoC, memory, power, networking).
• Automotive networking protocols: CAN, CAN FD, Automotive Ethernet.
• Diagnostics and update flows (UDS, boot loaders).
• Experience with AUTOSAR Classic and Adaptive platforms.
• Proficiency with requirements and traceability tools such as DOORS or Polarion.
• Familiarity with ASPICE Level 2 and ISO 26262 safety standards.
