Senior Security Researcher

About the role

You will lead the development and maintenance of Hypernative's hack and exploit detection engine, analysing alerts to distinguish false positives from true positives while continuously improving detection accuracy. The role involves deep research into emerging blockchain threats and the creation of real‑time mitigation tools, contributing to the security of Web3 ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the hack and exploit detection engine, analysing alerts for false positives and true positives.
• Conduct in‑depth research on emerging blockchain threats and vulnerabilities.
• Build tools and systems for real‑time detection and mitigation of security risks.
• Identify and analyse Web3 security vulnerabilities and shape security products.
• Continuously update security practices and documentation.

Required profile

• Multi‑year experience building systems with Python, applying OOP and SOLID principles.
• Proficiency with git, CI/CD pipelines and collaborative development tools.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities in a fast‑paced environment.
