Senior System Administrator

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior System Administrator to join a leading global manufacturing company. You will design, implement and maintain both cloud and on‑premise IT infrastructures while providing Tier‑3 support for complex technical issues.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and participate in project planning, architecture and deployment of new IT systems.
• Provide Tier‑3 troubleshooting and support for escalated incidents.
• Perform daily monitoring of servers, storage, hardware and IP telephony to ensure availability and integrity.
• Administer Microsoft Azure environments and Microsoft 365 services.
• Manage Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and endpoint deployment tools (SCCM/Intune).
• Implement cyber‑security best practices, hardening, firewalls and mitigation tools.
• Coordinate with external vendors, service providers and system integrators.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on system administration experience in a global/enterprise environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and fluent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, PowerShell scripting.
• Hypervisors and System Center (SCCM, SCOM).
• Microsoft Azure (IaaS/PaaS), Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune/Endpoint Manager.
• Microsoft 365 suite – Exchange Online, Teams, PSTN, SharePoint, OneDrive.
• Cisco/Aruba networking hardware, firewalls, routing, proxy, NAC, SSL‑VPN.
• Microsoft Defender/ATP security suite.
