Senior Staff Architecture Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Staff Architecture Engineer at Qualcomm Israel, you will define system and IP architectures for high‑performance, low‑power ASIC/SoC products, translating product requirements into architectural specifications and leading cross‑functional technical decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive architectures across chip‑level components, subsystems, and system‑level workflows.
• Develop architectural models, author technical specifications, and create hardware/software execution models for implementation teams.
• Lead cross‑functional decisions balancing functionality, performance, scalability, power, and implementation trade‑offs.

Required profile

• 12+ years of IC system design, VLSI design, verification, or related experience.
• 3+ years of experience in IC architecture and modeling tools.
• Strong foundation in hardware and chip design flows, system‑level HW/SW co‑design, and integration.

Required skills

• Experience with communication technologies and standards such as Ethernet, PCIe, UALink, OCP, UCIe.
• Proficiency in Python for modeling and system analysis.
• Knowledge of ASIC/SoC projects from architecture definition to tape‑out.
