Senior Product Designer

About the role

Navan is expanding its Tel Aviv office and is building an AI‑first product for frequent business travelers. As a Senior Product Designer you will craft intuitive, conversational and intelligent user experiences that shape how travelers interact with AI, balancing technology precision with human‑centered design.

Key responsibilities

• Design interfaces and interactions that go beyond visual UI, focusing on behavior, timing and tone across text, voice and visual modalities.
• Partner with Product, Engineering and AI/ML teams to create best‑in‑class AI‑powered travel experiences for mobile and web platforms.
• Prototype adaptive, contextual AI behaviors that feel helpful, human‑like and trustworthy, even when things go wrong.
• Drive the evolution of the design language to support intelligent systems, including voice, chat, suggestion flows and explainable AI patterns.
• Collaborate with research, data science and content design to ground work in user insights and behavioral trends.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience designing consumer or B2C/B2B2C products, preferably with exposure to AI or dynamic system‑driven experiences.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating intuitive, elegant solutions for complex or emerging technologies.
• Proven ability to collaborate across disciplines, especially with data science and engineering.
• Iterative mindset with test‑and‑learn approach and strong storytelling skills to translate complex AI functionality into user‑first narratives.
