About the role
Riverside is building the tools creators use to tell their stories worldwide, and they need a designer who thinks about systems before screens. The role demands fast, detail‑obsessed work that balances craft, speed, and strategic thinking.
Key responsibilities
- Own full platform areas end‑to‑end, from problem framing to polished product.
- Push the design system forward, not just apply it.
- Partner with product and engineering as an equal.
- Collaborate closely with the design team, critique work and share ideas.
- Report to a design‑focused manager who digs into details.
- Use research and data to sharpen instinct.
- Raise the bar for craft across the team.
Required profile
- 5+ years designing shipped products.
- Portfolio showing range, judgment, and finishing.
- Fluent in systems thinking and interaction design.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and disagreeing.
- Collaborative mindset, improving teammates.
- Curious about AI and experiments with new tools.
- Comfortable writing and pushing code.
