Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

Viz.ai is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to own the cloud infrastructure that powers its AI‑driven care pathways. You will be responsible for availability, security, scalability, cost‑efficiency and developer experience across a modern stack.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively establish and maintain CI/CD practices and processes.
• Manage Kubernetes (k8s) clusters and related tooling.
• Design, implement and evolve Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform/Ansible.
• Collaborate with development teams to enforce architecture best practices.
• Enhance system scalability, performance and reliability.
• Ensure security standards are met throughout cloud environments and the software development lifecycle.
• Monitor and control cloud‑resource costs.
• Maintain and improve the observability stack (Prometheus, etc.).
• Create and maintain agentic skills to improve developer experience.

Required profile

• Team player with a strong can‑do mentality.
• At least 6 years of experience as a DevOps engineer.
• Strong experience with AWS.
• Proficiency in Bash or Python scripting.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Experience managing and implementing Kubernetes clusters.
• Solid knowledge of IaC, especially Terraform and/or Ansible.
• Experience with monitoring and log‑analytics tools.
• Background in computer networking and network architectures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in Hebrew and English.
• Mentoring ability for code reviews and design discussions.
• Continuous learning mindset and proactive idea generation.
