DevOps Engineer – Cloud Infrastructure

About the role

As a DevOps Engineer at Wix, you’ll play a pivotal role in the cloud infrastructure group, driving development, optimization, and maintenance of high‑scale production cloud infrastructure for millions of users.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain high‑scale production cloud infrastructure solutions focused on availability, performance, and resilience.
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to ensure consistency and efficiency in deployment processes.
• Leverage Linux and networking expertise to enhance system performance, security, and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into effective cloud solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure and service issues affecting millions of users.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience working on live production systems.
• Strong proficiency in Linux and solid understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes fundamentals and hands‑on cluster administration.
• Comprehensive understanding of AWS fundamentals, including IAM, networking, and managed services.
• Experience with provisioning and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, or Chef.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and Bash.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
