Product Design Team Lead

About the role

Join Taboola’s News team in Tel Aviv as the Product Design Team Lead. You will own the end‑to‑end user experience of Taboola News, a consumer content‑discovery platform pre‑installed on hundreds of millions of mobile devices, and guide a focused design team to deliver a modular, mobile‑first experience across OEM and carrier touchpoints.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the UX strategy for a multi‑device, white‑label design system.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a design team of senior and junior designers.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and OEM partners to align design decisions with business goals.
• Conduct user research, analyze conversion funnels, and translate qualitative and quantitative insights into design solutions.
• Drive hands‑on product design, from concept and prototyping to final implementation.

Required profile

• 6+ years of product design experience, primarily on B2C mobile‑oriented consumer products.
• 3+ years of experience leading and mentoring design teams.
• Proven ability to present UX strategy to senior leadership and influence product direction.
• Bachelor’s degree in design.
• High proficiency in written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Expertise in user research, conversion funnel analysis, and user journey mapping.
• Deep experience building and scaling design systems for multi‑device implementations.
• Ability to leverage AI tools to accelerate concepting, prototyping, and system development.
