Procurement Buyer – Raw Materials, Construction & Electronics

About the role

We are a leading defense company based in central Israel, expanding our procurement team to support critical projects across raw materials, construction, and electronics. The Procurement Buyer will manage the full sourcing cycle and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end procurement processes for the assigned domain (raw materials, construction & infrastructure, or electronics).
• Issue RFQs, conduct commercial negotiations and execute supplier agreements in line with company procedures.
• Work closely with subcontractors and internal teams such as Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Finance and Project Management.
• Create and manage purchase orders, monitor deliveries and expedite supply to meet project schedules.
• Identify, evaluate and maintain supplier relationships while supporting cost‑reduction initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Economics or a related field (advantage).
• 5+ years of experience as a Procurement Buyer or Supplier Manager in technological, industrial, electronics, mechanical or construction environments.
• Proven experience in supplier negotiations and contract management.
• Technical understanding in at least one of the domains: raw materials, electronics, or construction & infrastructure.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office applications.
