Planner Lead

About the role

flō Optics is a fast‑moving startup developing breakthrough digital printing technology for optical lens coatings. As the company prepares for first‑unit manufacturing, we are looking for a Planner Lead to own assembly planning, material availability and inventory processes within the Priority ERP system.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain item records, Bills of Materials, work orders and purchase requisitions in Priority ERP.
• Design and implement MRP processes, translating production plans into purchasing requirements based on demand, inventory levels and supplier lead times.
• Track material availability, identify early shortages and coordinate proactive escalations with suppliers.
• Manage inventory levels, safety stock, ABC/XYZ classification and support cycle counts.
• Produce regular planning reports covering on‑time delivery, material availability, critical shortages, work order and PO status, and excess stock.
• Develop and monitor planning KPIs such as schedule adherence, material availability rate, inventory turns and forecast accuracy.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Engineering, R&D and Production on engineering changes and their impact on planning.
• Support S&OP and medium‑term capacity planning scenarios for the 2027 ramp‑up.
• Continuously improve data integrity in the ERP system and build structured planning procedures for a scale‑up environment.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering & Management or equivalent.
• Hands‑on experience with Priority ERP.
• Proven background in MRP, purchase requisition generation, inventory management and material availability planning in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong Excel skills for data analysis; experience building dashboards or BI tools is a plus.
• Experience in an industrial manufacturing or printing environment.
• Good command of English for reading, writing and supplier communication.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic start‑up/scale‑up environment and build processes from scratch.
