Pastry Cook

About the role

Join the culinary team at a leading hotel in Tel Aviv as a Pastry Cook. You will be responsible for preparing a variety of breads, pastries, and desserts that meet the brand’s quality and presentation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare doughs, fillings, and batters; proof, bake, and decorate pastries.
• Follow daily production sheets to produce the required assortment of baked goods.
• Maintain kitchen logs and ensure compliance with food safety programs.
• Monitor appliance temperatures, report issues, and keep the Chef informed of excess inventory for specials.
• Assist with hiring, training, and coaching team members as needed.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience in a bakery or pastry environment.
• Valid Israeli ID or work visa.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lb, stand for long periods, and work on varied surfaces.
