Monetization Director – Tetris Block Party

About the role

Playstudios is seeking a Monetization Director to shape the revenue strategy for its flagship mobile title, Tetris Block Party. The role will drive long‑term player engagement, retention and profitability by combining data‑driven insights with creative game design.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the monetization vision and roadmap for Tetris Block Party.
• Track and improve core KPIs such as revenue, ARPDAU, payer conversion, retention and LTV.
• Design pricing models, in‑game offers, promotions, events and other monetization systems.
• Plan, execute and analyse A/B tests to continuously optimise monetisation performance.
• Collaborate with Product, Game Economy, Data, LiveOps, Marketing, Creative and Development teams to identify growth opportunities.
• Leverage player segmentation and behavioural analytics to inform decisions.
• Lead, mentor and expand a global monetisation team while managing multiple strategic projects.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends, competitor approaches and emerging best practices.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in monetisation or a related business function within the gaming industry.
• Proven track record of leading monetisation strategy for live mobile games.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business decisions.
• Experience working cross‑functionally with Product, Data, Economy, Marketing and LiveOps teams.
• Advanced degree (BA/B.Sc.) in Economics, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.
