ML & Big Data Analyst – Core Data Group

About the role

Join Similarweb’s Core Data group as an ML & Big Data Analyst. You will help process complex datasets, explore new data sources, and collaborate with data scientists and engineers to create impactful features for our digital intelligence platform.

Key responsibilities

• Apply quantitative analysis and data mining techniques to transform data into actionable insights.
• Conduct research and develop tools that ensure the quality of Similarweb’s data and algorithms.
• Evaluate and improve novel algorithms produced by data scientists using deep knowledge of the company’s data.
• Partner with Big Data Engineers to design and scale infrastructure for data‑driven solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a technology company.
• At least 2 years of Python scripting experience.
• Proficiency with SQL for data analysis.
• Strong understanding of statistical principles, concepts, and methods.
• Experience with Hadoop, Spark, or AWS infrastructure (highly valued).
• Ability to visualize data using tools such as matplotlib or seaborn (advantage).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Team player, fast learner, and strong analytical and research capabilities.
