Mission Aircraft Systems Architect – AEW

About the role

We are seeking a Mission Aircraft Systems Architect – AEW to join the Airborne Systems Plant at ELTA Systems. This cross‑project, multidisciplinary position sits at the core of advanced development activities, integrating hardware, software and artificial intelligence into complex airborne mission systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and synchronize hardware, software and AI development activities across multiple projects and R&D initiatives.
• Coordinate work plans and development efforts throughout the division.
• Provide engineering support for marketing activities, including technical proposals and pricing processes.
• Develop engineering content for presentations and customer‑facing materials.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (mandatory).
• At least 3 years of experience with complex systems (mandatory).
• Proven experience leading R&D activities (mandatory).
• Experience in requirements definition and system specification writing (advantage).
• Background in radar system development or support (advantage).
• Experience managing and leading development processes (advantage).
• Deep knowledge of artificial intelligence.
