Infrastructure Technician – Plant Operations

About the role

The Infrastructure Technician is responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of the plant’s electrical and control systems, compressed air, chillers, and water‑treatment units at Vishay’s Migdal Ha'Emek facility. Working closely with the infrastructure team, the role supports various plant departments and interfaces with contractors and internal customers to maintain high‑performance systems.

Key responsibilities

• Provide service to the various plant departments.
• Take responsibility for the proper operation of infrastructure systems (electricity and control).
• Maintain compressed air pressure.
• Lead the operation of chillers, air‑ and water‑treatment units, panels and electricity distribution.
• Collaborate with contractors and internal customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance on schedule.

Required profile

• Practical, certified or main electrical license.
• Approximately two years of industry experience (advantageous).
• Basic knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read electrical plans and drawings.
• Ability to work in a diverse team.
• Excellent interpersonal relations and service orientation.
