Mechanical Technician

About the role

The Mechanical Technician will join Eco Wave Power’s operations team in Tel Aviv, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of the wave energy equipment. This full‑time, on‑site position involves hands‑on maintenance of mechanical systems that convert ocean waves into electricity.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine equipment maintenance and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues on machines and systems.
• Execute repairs and upkeep to minimise downtime.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to improve equipment reliability.
• Interpret technical documentation, schematics and blueprints during maintenance activities.

Required profile

• Proficiency in equipment maintenance and preventive maintenance practices.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and blueprints.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and standards in mechanical work environments.
• Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (preferred).
• Problem‑solving mindset, attention to detail and teamwork orientation.
