Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design of hydraulic and pneumatic flow systems, truss structures, lifting and erection solutions, and electromechanical assemblies. The role involves close collaboration with customers and internal teams to deliver robust, efficient mechanical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design hydraulic and pneumatic flow systems, truss structures, and lifting/erection mechanisms.
• Create mechanical accessories and components, evaluate alternatives, and prepare design reviews.
• Present design options to customers and engage in professional engineering discussions.
• Develop 3D models and detailed drawings using Siemens NX within a Teamcenter environment, managing releases through the configuration management system.
• Perform analytical calculations for fluid system design.
• Handle interface documents and ensure proper coordination with analysis and other engineering disciplines.
• Support subcontractors and provide engineering assistance throughout the manufacturing process.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience designing hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic design and analysis tools.
• Experience with Siemens NX and Teamcenter is a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of static and dynamic analysis software such as ANSYS or Nastran is beneficial.
