Laboratory Technician

About the role

The Laboratory Technician will work on‑site in Be’er Sheva supporting both the Formulation Laboratory and the Pilot Plant. The role involves developing, scaling‑up and evaluating crop‑protection products, preparing samples, formulations and reagents, and performing routine laboratory tests.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and evaluate different formulation types, monitor physicochemical parameters and product stability.
• Operate and maintain laboratory and pilot‑scale equipment according to standard procedures and safety standards.
• Support pilot‑scale batch preparation, process equipment operation and parameter monitoring.
• Troubleshoot experimental and process issues and document findings.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Chemistry, Biology, Agronomy or a related scientific field.
• Practical experience as a laboratory technician or in a similar technical role.
• Knowledge of quality control principles, safety regulations and good laboratory practice (GLP).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team and manage time effectively.

• Use of laboratory information systems and basic computer skills for data entry.
