About the role

As a Breeding Assistant in the R&D unit of Hazera, you will work closely with the Breeder, supporting breeding programs and gaining exposure to global markets and cross‑functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities

Implement breeding programs, including sowing, planting, and laboratory tests.
Support field observations and selections locally and internationally.
Train and supervise technicians and seasonal workers.
Document, report, and monitor plant development in breeding plots.
Maintain breeding software systems (field lists, lab tests, seed inventory, etc.).
Coordinate with company laboratories and monitor test results.

Required profile

B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Agriculture or Life Sciences.
Valid driver’s license and high level of English.
Motivation for a role that combines fieldwork with office tasks.
Willingness to travel abroad 2–3 times per year.
