IT Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a skilled IT Engineer to join our Research and Development centre. The role involves managing and maintaining both on‑premise and cloud‑based (AWS) IT environments, supporting the main office in Raanana and a secondary site in Haifa.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Linux servers (Rocky, Ubuntu) and virtualization platforms (VMware, KVM).
• Develop and maintain scripts using Bash and Python for automation.
• Manage office IT systems such as video, alarm, and other peripheral equipment.
• Provide technical support and create documentation for internal teams.
• Oversee networking and storage infrastructure, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Implement backups, disaster‑recovery plans, and regular system updates.
• Apply security best practices and maintain compliance with organisational policies.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of professional IT experience.
• Strong background in Linux administration and virtualization.
• Proficiency in scripting with Bash or Python.
• Experience supporting office IT hardware and software.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
