About the role

Spines is seeking an experienced Head of HR to shape and execute the global people strategy for its fast‑growing publishing platform. The role blends strategic leadership with hands‑on execution, supporting rapid business growth while ensuring world‑class HR operations.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead the overall HR strategy aligned with business objectives and organizational growth.
• Oversee talent acquisition at a macro level, including workforce planning, headcount management, and global hiring processes.
• Drive employee experience initiatives to boost engagement, retention, and a high‑performance culture worldwide.
• Design and implement learning, development, and performance‑management programs for employees and managers.
• Ensure compliance with international labor laws, manage employee relations, and champion diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Manage HR operations, systems, policies, and workforce data for efficient day‑to‑day execution.
• Lead, develop, and align the HR team with organizational goals.
• Promote AI‑powered HR tools and automation to enhance efficiency and data‑driven decision‑making.

Required profile

• 8+ years of HR experience in fast‑paced startups, with a track record of building HR functions from the ground up.
• Proven ability to design, scale, and optimize HR processes and infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of global labor regulations and DEI best practices.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing and developing HR teams.
