Electrical Cost Manager

About the role

Linesight is looking for an Electrical Cost Manager to support the commercial management of construction projects. You will be responsible for cost control, budgeting and value‑for‑money analysis throughout the project lifecycle, working with diverse, international teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support commercial management of construction projects, ensuring cost control and value for money.
• Assist in assessing and resolving change orders, variations, contractual matters and commercial issues.
• Prepare estimates, cost plans, budgets and cash‑flow forecasts at various project stages.
• Produce accurate cost reports, valuations and commercial analyses to aid decision‑making.
• Support tender and procurement activities, including bid documentation and contractor evaluation.
• Monitor project expenditure, identify cost variances and report commercial risks and opportunities.
• Maintain accurate cost records and ensure timely completion of commercial documentation.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, contractors, consultants and internal teams.
• Ensure work complies with project procedures, contractual requirements and company quality standards.

Required profile

• Experience in pre‑ and post‑contract cost management on varied projects, preferably with data centre exposure.
• Degree or comparable experience in cost management, construction or a related discipline.
• Ability to manage own priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to travel for short periods to meet clients, partners and team members.
• Strong relationship‑building skills and a collaborative, open attitude.
