Data Analyst – Strategy Team (Financial Institution)

About the role

Join a leading financial institution’s Strategy team as a Data Analyst. You will play a high‑impact role, turning complex data into actionable insights that directly support senior management and key business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑depth data analysis and complex queries to support strategic initiatives.
• Use SQL and Excel to explore large datasets, identify trends and uncover business opportunities.
• Develop reports, KPIs and performance analyses that give a clear view of business performance.
• Lead and support Power BI implementation and reporting processes.
• Translate complex data findings into actionable recommendations.
• Participate in strategic discussions and present insights to senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Business, Information Systems or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst.
• At least 1 year hands‑on experience with SQL.
• Previous experience in banking, credit, insurance or other financial services is a strong advantage.
• Experience with Power BI is a significant advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication and data‑presentation skills.
