Cybersecurity Expert

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Cybersecurity Expert to design, implement, manage, and monitor security systems that protect the Jerusalem light rail networks. You will work on both IT and OT environments, ensuring continuous protection against evolving threats.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deploy security solutions, including FortiGate NAC, Firewall, Analyzer, and EDR.
• Configure and manage FortiGate firewalls and related security appliances.
• Monitor security alerts, analyze logs, and respond to incidents promptly.
• Enforce compliance with security policies and perform regular security assessments.
• Conduct vulnerability scans and maintain detailed documentation of configurations, processes, and incidents.
• Manage backup and restore systems for critical infrastructure.
• Stay up‑to‑date with the latest cyber‑security trends, technologies, and threats.
• Lead hardening activities and improve monitoring for OT and IT networks.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of hands‑on experience in cyber‑security roles.
• Proven experience with the FortiGate product suite.
• Experience managing SIEM systems and responding to security alerts.
• Strong understanding of network protocols and security architecture.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently or in a team.
• Relevant certifications such as Security+; FortiGate certifications are a plus.
