Lead Research Scientist – Generative AI

About the role

As a Lead Research Scientist within the LTX Partner R&D team, you will bridge cutting‑edge generative AI research and enterprise‑scale production deployment. You will work directly with technical leaders at global enterprises to translate complex partner needs into novel generative video workflows and extend core LTX models.

Key responsibilities

• Partner Collaboration & Strategy: engage with researchers and decision‑makers at client organisations to understand challenges and define targeted AI research projects.
• Applied Research & Prototyping: conduct high‑impact experiments, develop novel control mechanisms and prototype state‑of‑the‑art generative video, image and audio concepts.
• Production Deployment: collaborate with engineers, creatives and product managers to bring enterprise‑ready algorithms into production with a focus on efficiency and runtime.
• Open‑Source & Academic Impact: publish research insights and contribute open‑source code and models to the academic and developer communities.
• Technical Leadership: lead multi‑group initiatives, mentor researchers and engineers, and guide projects from concept to execution.

Required profile

• Education: M.Sc. in Computer Science, Machine Learning or related field; Ph.D. preferred.
• Domain expertise: strong background in generative AI, especially video generation, image processing and multimodal architectures.
• Cross‑functional experience: 5+ years delivering technical projects across multiple groups and external partners.
• Proven track record of originating novel ideas and rapid prototyping.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and drive business impact.
