Cyber Security Engineer – Hands-On Information Security Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Cyber Security Engineer to join a large, stable enterprise in Jerusalem. The role combines hands‑on operation, planning, and maintenance of complex information security systems while driving enterprise‑wide cyber initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain endpoint protection solutions (EDR/XDR/Antivirus).
• Manage Next‑Gen Firewalls, Secure Web Gateways, and Network Access Control systems.
• Handle security incidents, provide end‑user support on cyber‑related issues, and coordinate with vendors and integrators.
• Evaluate emerging security technologies and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate on cloud security projects and assist with security architecture design.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in information security and cyber defense (5+ years is a strong advantage).
• Hands‑on operational experience with EDR/XDR, NGFW, SWG, NAC, and data sanitization/CDR solutions.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking and system infrastructure.
• Ability to work independently, learn quickly, and contribute effectively in a team environment.
