Customer Service Specialist

About the role

As a Customer Service Specialist at Thermo Fisher Scientific Israel, you will be the primary point of contact for customers throughout the entire purchase and service lifecycle. You will ensure clear communication, timely updates, and seamless coordination across order placement, delivery, installation, invoicing and ongoing support.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact, providing professional, prompt assistance and following cases through to resolution.
• Enter and maintain customer orders in the appropriate systems, keeping customers informed of order status.
• Coordinate deliveries, installations, service visits and repairs, communicating schedules and requirements.
• Generate or process invoices and assist customers with billing, payment and related documentation inquiries.
• Manage the end‑to‑end customer journey, ensuring continuity between all touch‑points.
• Maintain visibility of open requests, proactively communicate progress and engage internal stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Accurately record customer, order and service data in CRM and ERP systems and identify opportunities to improve the experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in customer service, order management, service coordination or a similar customer‑facing role.
• Proven ability to manage multiple interactions and drive issues to completion.
• Strong attention to detail and ownership mindset.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM systems.
• Experience with ERP systems.
