Construction Team Leader – Overhead Catenary System

About the role

Alstom is seeking an experienced OCS Construction Team Leader to oversee the installation of overhead catenary systems on rail projects. The role involves managing a crew, ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and health & safety regulations while delivering work on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the construction team to achieve performance, cost, quality, and HSE targets.
• Ensure catenary installation follows basic and detailed designs, installation procedures, and QA/QC systems.
• Manage work‑permit processes, including lock‑out/tag‑out and track access.
• Report technical issues, non‑conformities and coordinate with the construction manager.
• Organise daily tasks, monitor equipment usage, and maintain machine availability.
• Prepare daily reports on team performance, quality controls, material consumption and equipment service.

• Overhead Catenary System (OCS) installation expertise.
• Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures.
• Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) compliance.
