CAD Operator – LRT Project (Haifa/Nazareth)

About the role

Alstom is seeking a CAD Operator to support the Haifa‑Nazareth Light Rail Transit (LRT) project in Northern Israel. The role involves preparing track alignment and design documentation, producing construction drawings and supporting on‑site installation activities.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and analyse contractual technical requirements and, under supervision, prepare track alignment and design documents for the LRT project.
• Prepare track material quantities, design mechanical assemblies for trackwork, and issue construction drawings for reinforcement, turnouts, special trackworks and road crossing phasing.
• Follow up track installation on site, update construction drawings to as‑built status and support the Project Track Engineering Manager with QCD improvement proposals.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in railway (LRT/Metro) track alignment design or related highway/urban insertion projects.
• Good team spirit, self‑motivation, autonomy and rigor with strong communication skills.
• Proficient English language ability.

Required skills

• Mastery of AutoCAD (preferably AutoCAD Civil 3D) and basic technical drawing/industrial design.
• Familiarity with Microstation (preferred) and BIM modelling concepts.
• Knowledge of track construction and maintenance principles.
