Business Development Manager

About the role

ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA, the internationalisation agency of the Austrian economy, is looking for a Business Development Manager to support Austrian companies entering the Israeli market. You will act as a bridge between Austrian businesses and Israeli partners, providing strategic advice and facilitating market entry.

Key responsibilities

• Advise Austrian companies on market entry and business activities in Israel.
• Identify business opportunities and create relevant contacts.
• Expand and maintain a strong network with Israeli companies and institutions.
• Organise and implement events that promote Austrian‑Israeli collaboration.
• Create and draft content for professional publications and online channels.
• Manage the customer database and coordinate meetings, appointments, and schedules.

Required profile

• Completed higher education (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent), preferably in taxes, law, customs, project management or international relations.
• Practical knowledge of legal, tax and customs matters related to Israel and cross‑border business.
• Excellent English, Hebrew and German language skills; Arabic is a plus.
• Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal abilities.
• High initiative, enthusiasm and the ability to work independently.
• Service‑oriented mindset, strong team spirit and a hands‑on attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Experience using CRM systems.
