Board Design Engineer

About the role

DriveNets is looking for a highly skilled multidisciplinary engineer with a strong background in system design to help expand its Ethernet product portfolio. You will join a fast‑growing team that develops high‑speed digital and analog circuit boards for next‑generation networking and AI infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Develop high‑speed digital and analog circuit boards used in Ethernet products.
• Design board schematics and oversee PCB layout, ensuring proper stack‑up, placement, and routing.
• Conduct lab testing and evaluate new hardware solutions.
• Provide technical leadership in troubleshooting, reviewing schematics, layouts, and design‑for‑manufacturability (DFM).
• Manage component selection and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of hardware/board design experience.
• Expertise in PCB technology and layout for analog and digital circuits, including signal and power integrity for high‑speed interfaces (e.g., 112 Gb Ethernet, PCIe Gen5, DDR5).
• Hands‑on experience with high‑precision signal measurement and system engineering.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Excellent English communication skills for collaboration with design, evaluation, production, and program teams.
