Accounting Manager – International Multi-Entity Finance

About the role

This fully remote position reports to an international Finance function and is responsible for end‑to‑end accounting of a portfolio of five entities across the US, Hong Kong, Cyprus and other jurisdictions. The role blends hands‑on accounting ownership with coordination of auditors, tax advisors and banking partners.

Key responsibilities

• Own full‑cycle accounting for five international entities, ensuring accurate financial records.
• Manage month‑end close, general ledger reviews, trial balance, account reconciliations and intercompany accounting.
• Maintain parallel accounting in the corporate ERP and QuickBooks, monitoring automated transaction feeds for duplicates or mismatches.
• Lead annual statutory audits for Cyprus and Hong Kong entities and coordinate external auditors.
• Oversee outsourced partners for US tax filings and local statutory returns, maintaining the group tax calendar.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly P&L forecasts, conduct plan‑versus‑actual variance analysis.
• Support KYC, AML and other compliance requests from banks and payment service providers.
• Identify and remediate accounting discrepancies, control weaknesses and process inefficiencies.

Required profile

• Experienced international accountant with a strong track record in multi‑entity operations.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with US, Hong Kong, Cyprus and other jurisdictional accounting requirements.
• Comfortable working fully remote and collaborating across time zones.
