AI Security Engineer

About the role

Fireblocks is expanding its security organization to address AI‑related risks across the company and its platform. As an AI Security Engineer you will monitor the AI threat landscape, assess AI usage, and build controls and tooling to keep AI deployments secure.

Key responsibilities

• Track emerging AI attack techniques and translate them into concrete risk assessments for Fireblocks.
• Maintain a living threat model covering AI usage in the platform, internal tools, and third‑party services.
• Analyze AI deployments (coding assistants, corporate tools, procured services) and identify security gaps.
• Design, implement, and operate AI security architecture, tooling, and infrastructure in partnership with engineering teams.
• Research and deploy open‑weight models to support incident response and real‑time threat investigation.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with AI/ML technologies.
• 3+ years in engineering or R&D roles.
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, especially AWS, and how AI workloads run in production.
• Deep understanding of AI/ML system architecture, including model deployment, inference, RAG, pipelines, and agent frameworks.
• Experience configuring and rolling out AI tools for a broad internal audience.
• Proven ability to design, ship, and operate security tooling or infrastructure end‑to‑end.
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently while coordinating with Security, R&D, and other stakeholders.
